    @boogie3478 The inch does make a diff, you ride higher and can see better over the hood. I actually feel like I'm sitting upright in a chair and not with my ass slumped down. I do notice my lower back feels better after driving around for a while. 20 miles back and forth to work is pretty comfortable now. Probably one of the better mods I have done and did on company time with company parts on a Saturday! I love overtime!!:D

    I installed that tailgate damper, and I noticed the same.
    There's no place for the damper AND the cable.
    Personnaly I removed the cable.

    I read a thread a while back when I first joined on a prototype kit to delete this. The guy did the mod and ran with it for a while but after some time he had more issues than before he deleted it and was looking to re-install the pump... I would be down for just a re-route kit to move it somewhere else in the engine bay.

    All that space for activities would be fantastic!

    All the mods
    Regarding my recent secondary air pump uni filter swap it seems like some have this unit and some don't. From what I can piece together here's the breakdown but please comment if you have some contradictory info:

    • All 4cyls (2005-2015) have the pump found between the washer fluid res and the radiator
    • 2005-2011 V6 does not have the pump
    • 2012-2015 V6 has the pump between the washer fluid res and the firewall/cab

    I think you quoted the wrong person. I said that my 2013 TRD Off Road DOES have the Secondary Pump. I have complied withthe Uni Filter Mod at around 100,000 miles.
