    On the later years, the lower seat cushion is hinged at the back and folds toward the rear of the truck, so it's almost vertical. So, now you don't have a nice flat surface to set stuff on. The good news is that you can get the whole back panel and seats out of an earlier Taco and put it up the later Taco and it all fits.
