Pitching this...Dee's been in contact with SPI Sea turtle inc. and getting information regarding how to make possibly next year's run as a nonprofit fundraiser for the sea turtle conservation ...just an idea....., I'd like to get @ink junky along with others suggestions / ideas as a group on this. Any thoughts?

Yes I remember you talking about this as an option, also @Tuff1833 does the local PD departments have the blue santa program down there to give back to local families/kids for the holidays? Just throwing out some ideas.

There's a lot more action on this thread than the other RGV/South Texas threads.

stock at this time, would like a quality suspension leveling lift, performance exhaust system, offroad tires, off road lights ect....
I like that Idea, the group can have a greater cause as well. Also when I would visit the Island for a motorcycle rally we would get police escort and would stay together through the lights....maybe there is a way this could be done for our group? when we got together at the beach it really looked awesome! The gathering at the Walmart was a great start...

Toyota HQ is in Plano and they ask the DFW Tacomas and the DFW Tundras to volunteer with their toy drive and back to school drive.

Here's a pic of my truck packed with toys last Christmas. The back seat and front passenger seat were full too.

There has to be companies or groups that would welcome the help.

As for the police escort & light thing, a non profit deal has to be in the works, pitch it to the chief of police and present it at the spi city counsel meeting. That's bits and pieces of information Dee has gathered. It would take some work but it can be done.:curls:

This is something we would need to plan to as this would make it easier to keep everyone together.

Hey that's cool. I live in the DFW and I would like to help and I'll pinch in for toys too..maybe my company can pinch in, I'll just have to represent them with a huge flag most likely since they do things like this for other charities either way.

Yes Some of the local PDs have the Blue Santa program. This is a good idea, a long with Toys for Tots. This YW meet needs to be advertised. I've always thought about getting the Local Toyita Dealerships involved as well, maybe they could sponsor the meet to boost up their sales ??
