That stance looks awesome. What tires/size are you running?

I use my taco as a DD, so I don't think I'm going to lift it. But I wouldn't mind having a stance close to yours.

This is how mine fits as well. I have my phone charging cord plugged in 24/7, so the flap is permanently open.

Thanks! If you're interested in making one yourself, the build thread for it is around here somewhere. It's my pride and joy though. Makes driving in traffic much more stress relieving. lol.

I have never compared to real one but I was really impressed it’s awsome compared to my stock SR grill. Highly recommend it!

We really enjoy using these. We have the lighter duty version where the lid isn’t rigid or sealed. Two big trunks and a smaller one as a kitchen box works for us. Academy had them pretty cheap.

Duh. I should have known this, I own one (roughly 36" long). They're not sealed like Pelican cases, but they don't start at over $360, either. Seem reasonably well made and fairly durable. We have some similar Stanley-branded cases at work that lean towards the crappy side. Though, in fairness, people sit on them and use them for step-stools.

Oiled filter is reusable (you clean it instead of replacing) and supposedly flows more. The OEM filter will work with a TRD CAI if you’d rather save the the initial cash.

A short, concise explanation of the difference between oiled vs dry:
    https://blog.edgeautosport.com/dryflow-vs-oiled-air-filters

I had oiled before. Not too bad to clean and oil, though drying it took most of a 85F sun shiney day. I had a OEM dry filter to use while the oiled one dried.
    I switched to below:

The link below fits the Tacoma, I have the TRD Pro CAI that I also use it with....and I cut out that charcoal filter.
Plus this dry filter is reusable....you can wash it. Dries much faster than an oiled filter.

Had the same AFE set up.
Regardless of what some people say, it did give a seat in your pants kick to accelerating and some major noise. I liked it. I also did add a Cat Back.....but that made it too loud for me because it started to drone when cruising. Again, it does make some noise...was fun for a few months.
I did send back the pre-air filter part(the more or less black nylon bag), since I did my own non-technical test of blowing air through it with pressurized air...it definetly reduced air flow.
After Harvey totaled my 2016 TRD I installed the TRD Pro exhaust and TRD CAI....quieter.
I think you’ll like it though!
