Yep factory ones have flats for a wrench, aftermarket has Allen sockets. You can get a pair of vice grips or 2 on the shaft itself where the shock rides. Or cut them.

That's what I did. vice grips on the tab and then turn the whole shock using the nut until the vice grips hit the frame and use that for leverage. I sprayed mine with pb several days before and they hadn't been on that long. Careful because it is easy to break that little tab on top.

Or you can go on the shaft if you don't plan on reusing them or you can get close enough to the end that it doesn't matter if it's nicked a little

Going to be at Fripp Island next week and I was wondering (though it’s a long shot) if there was anywhere down around there that I could drive on the beach.

Definitely not on Fripp...best you’re going to get is to be able to park on Sands Beach on Port Royal.

I’d be willing to drive but I’ve only heard of people driving on the beaches in North Carolina

Sands Beach in Port Royal is right close to where you’ll be at Fripp. FL or NC is where it’s at for actually driving on the beach.

You could start a hypnosis treatment center watching that work it's mesmerizing. That and watching you figure out some custom brackets real quick and then drawing them out in like 5 min and getting them cut impressive!!!

Haven't decided completely on the plan yet. Just wanting easier access to the bed and reduce some weight at the moment. I have several ideas just gotta work through them and figure with will best suit what I need.
