For our budget conscience clients, we offer our universal replacement mufflers and our Cat-back Systems in aluminized steel, which has a 3-year warranty. The majority of our Cat-back Exhaust Systems are manufactured from 409S stainless steel. We also offer a large number of our universal replacement mufflers in a stainless steel option. All of our 409S stainless steel Mufflers, Cat-back and Axle-back Systems are backed by Flowmaster's lifetime, limited warranty.

It is not unusual to see surface rust on our 409S stainless steel components, however, you will not experience corrosion to the extent of perforation in the metal. As others have stated a good coat (and occasional recoat) with a high temp paint such as VHT will help to extend the life of either aluminized or 409S steel products.

If you have additional questions about any of our products for your Tacoma please PM me, I'm here to help.

Not all of our replacement mufflers and Exhaust Systems are manufactured from aluminized steel. We do offer a large number of exhaust products in 409S stainless. If the Flowmaster muffler on your vehicle is having issues you may have warranty coverage. If you're the original purchaser and the product was purchased within 3 years (for aluminized) we can file a claim. Our stainless steel items have a lifetime limited warranty to the original owner. Either way, if you can get us some pics and a copy of your original purchase invoice we may be able to help. Please give us a call at 707-544-4761.

    No kidding.

I was installing some D rings for cargo in the bed of my truck a while back. Seriously just drilling holes and turning a small wrench. I felt it the next day. In my defense, I did have to crawl around a bit under the truck to reach some bolts...

So have been having this slight clunk transitioning from driveway to street. LBJs replaced by Toyota 30k or so (late 2013 I believe). I had ordered 2 from Camelback and had them on hand in case I needed them while doing the OME kit.

Glad I did, those bolts look original and there is some very minor up/down movement - crazy...
