Yes. The OP made a connector for the OEM boot. He’s whipping up knobs in different materials too. Mine is his delrin knob. Check out the link to the thread above.

What wheels are those?

 

Wives and significant others for the most part are very perceptive when it comes to noticing new or different things, men not so much. My wife knows very little for example about firearms in general but she knows a new one when she sees one. I don't notice things like a new pair of shoes, purse, slacks or a lot of other things for that matter. They also have memories like a steel trap, I don't remember last week. Could be that we are more self absorbed in our own interests. However it works as long as they love us that's really all that matters. My wife's a saint. She let's me know that she doesn't miss much but still allows me to indulge myself. It's the nature of the beast. You have to love a woman that accepts you as well as your faults. Do something nice for them every once in a while to show them that they're appreciated and it will all work out. A nice vacation is a good place to start, a night out, flowers for no reason don't hurt either. Enjoy your time together and have fun.
