Sound system upgrade

Ok guys so for ya'll to have as a reference, here's what I did with my 2017's sound system.
I found a kicker speaker package that contained 2 - 6 and 3/4 speakers and 2 - 6x9s. Then I went to taco tunes and ordered the 12in sub with their naked box, the amp, and the cables and wires needed. The Image Dynamics speaker that came with it was defective so I ended up returning it (taco tunes was pretty good about their returns) and I put in a 12" kicker instead. All in all it came down to about $900 instead of the $1700 that the high end place that does sound systems around here charges. The place I went to charged me $120 to install everything, taco tunes said they would do it for $270.

 

Man, I wish there were more options for adding a sub to an Access Cab.

 

I wish there were more options for tacomas in general.

 

This is the sub I mounted behind the seat of my double cab. It's an Alpine low profile 10. I didn't want to take all the plastic out and cut up a new truck so I made the box fit down in the tray behind the rear passenger seat. It hits hard and sounds good in the truck but not loud enough to get the cops called. I still need to carpet the box, but I have to find some first.
