Just had Houston from Superior Offroad in Gresham adjust my coil overs up another half inch, chopped my frame qnd bushwackers. Its amazing how a half inch can totally change the stance of my truck! Everytime I add or change something else on the Hooligan, it feels like i got a new truck. Man i love this truck!
Man I sure hope I can get me key by Thursday morning. It's supposed to be mid to low 80's here so i can get my tune on!
Excited about it, I sent an email yesterday and haven't heard back.
I am worried that because I was disappointed and mentioned it here that I am black balled and won't get any service.
Hope that's not the case, but I am sceptical based on my experience so far!
I thought I saw on Sunday or Monday a post from Matt stating he was emailing out the keys, haven't checked in while hope i get to edit this post later with praise.

He is in the middle of a cross country move of his life and business after being out of the country for several weeks... he’ll be good to his word and get caught up but I’d expect delays til he’s setup on the East Coast (welcome to the land of 93 octane @OVTune )

Price I dunno but it’d be fun!

 

Been cleaning out my fuel system with 93, with the mods I've done so far, it's running a lot better. The first exhaust I did relieved the weird acceleration when it gets to about 3500 rpms. The Flow Master was soooo lout though, I had to wear ear plugs to drive it, I put a bigger muffler on it but kept all the 3" pipe. It's faster but a little of that surge is back.
Just hoping to get my tune on by Thursday!

 

Turbos 0.O

 

Turbos are cool, if I were going any further on the engine, i think a supercharger by Magnuson would be better. No lag and since they made the TRD supercharger for Toyota I would have confidence in the reliability. I am pretty happy with my truck and I am sure when I get tuned that will be the last thing I would like to add to it. I have exhaust, SSP and CAI, it goes like a raped ape already. Plus it fits pretty well on the trail in the northwest.
Knowing myself I will probably want more, I always want it all!

 

I agree, i would rather have a supercharger for better throttle/boost responce. They sure are taking their time though.

 

SCs are linear and predictable. You don't need (even if some people want) the kick in the ass of a turbo. For those that want that from their trucks the door is over there... errr uh. there will probably be turbo kits. For everyone else, we will have to wait patiently for a SC to be released.

If they dont make a supercharger this year im going twin turbo or selling truck for raptor in 5-6years. I hear they have a bad ass 10speed thats pretty good
