Damn at my last unit they were forcing stand up desks on us and this is the no budget CG we're talking bout. If you have a reason you should definitely be given one! And,their should be at least one $10k massage chair per department!

 

Did it take anyone else an hour and half longer than normal to get home today? Im waiting for a #randyfab #tacomaholic helicopter hybrid mod for all gens...

Not necessarily. The joint almost always outlives the boot surrounding it, especially once the angle of the boot is increased due to a lift install.

 

Which is sad, i also somehow discovered "car umbrellas" on the drive home. It was a sad day.

The needle bearing is not in the cv. It's in the front differential where the cv goes into it.
If ya want, I also have the ecgs removal tool. We can reboot and regrease the cv and while we have it out, we can do a ecgs bushing install.
Just order the bushing, I'll order the boot kit, and we'll put it on the lift at the shop and get 'er done

Ecgs bushing is like $45, boot kit $32, and my labor rate is $0.00/hr

@Darkgoatracer if you haven't changed the front diff fluid yet, this would be a good time to do that as well. So you'd need to get a couple of quarts of that too
