    Mine wouldn't read right, when I was tapped into it. Either that or the scaling was off. Either way, once it reached a certain temp, ot stayed there.

    Installed an AEM (GM) coolant sensor, and plugged the values into the Haltech. Perfect.

    Might not be your case. Might be that it gets skewed having multiple sources get readings off of it. Not sure, and didn't care to take that time.

    My dash shows dead center so I’m not worried but also don’t really want to screw around with temperature risks

    you can check the sensor settings and adjust the curve. This is what was set in the map.

    Im not sure if they changed between years.
    the curves are the same for the IAT and Coolant temperature sensor

    Cant help you there. Haven't installed my gauge yet. I'm motivated to get the haltech in now though, so it'll be soon

    A thing or two...
    I run 186 to about 192 on my 2TR.

    Probably just a port on the computer going bad. If the software was looking at a particular port, he wouldn't be able to connect at all if he wasn't plugged into the right one.

    Well i got the AIR TEMP sensor to work right this morning but the coolant temp sensor still is off even with the values for resistance from the IAT table. This morning my garage is 86 and the coolant temp sensor on the haltech was reading 132

    I did. Removed the jumper harness wires for the OEM sensor. Wired it to the new sensor.

    Because of that conflict between my truck and the Haltech both using that sensor, and the ensuing problems, I opted for the additional sensor. That way the Haltech had its own, and the needle on the dash, as well as the Scangauge still showed the coolant temps as well.

    I don't drive around with my laptop connected daily, so having my eyes on the real time data was also important for me. Otherwise, I could have just removed the OEM coolant sensor from the truck's usage, so only the Haltech used it.

    Heck yeah. Free would be a little better though. ;)

    I think my scaling is just off i need to look it over some more.

    Also hell YeAh I’d love a free 3rz but idiots around here try to charge 500 for ones with blow HG and other problems

    A solid, seasoned, non cracked stock block, will let you get to 1800hp. 500 bucks for that potential is heavenly :cool:
