    If you think about it though, it's the same amount of red/white LEDs either way so theoretically it should be the same amount of light. Just maybe not quite as distributed.

    Yea, this is what I was thinking. Besides it looks they are bright enough that just having one side be on is plenty of light.

    Damn, maybe I need to do this. I had no idea they were side specific until reading back through. I was actually a bit disappointed as they fit so snug they get hung up and are hard to engage.

    Has the 5th gen 4runners been looked at? I was looking at the wife's today an it looks identical to the 2nd gen.

    3rd and 2nd gen Tacoma domes are different. Will not fit the other. Although, the 3rd Gen Tacoma dome is identical to the 5th gen 4runner. No maps yet for the T4R but I’m getting there..
