Alright so I have a quick question about the Grillcraft grill. Do you need to cut out the stock grill in order to fit this grill in properly? I was thinking I would want to have it bolted over the stock, because that way if I get tired of it, I can just unscrew it.

tacobo, would you know if it is possible to leave the stock in and have the Grillcraft right over it? It should be arriving tomorrow, and I don't know if I would want to cut the stock one out

i doubt it . the grill is meant to sit flush inside. u might have to do some major tweeking to get it to fit but might look like shet or like a bubble. y not juss score another grill so u got one spare.

It's not required, but it would be quite the PITA to get the bolts/nuts tightened with the center section in there. Also, it's going to show through quite a bit, since the center section will be right up next to the grillcraft, especially if you have the non-black center section.

I have not seen pics with the center section in place though.

You could just decide to replace the grill if you do ever get tired of it. Chances are very good that you could sell your existing Grillcraft/grill shell and fund about half the cost of a new one. Probably end up costing around $100 after all is said and done.

There is an online warehouse that sells the stocks for around $40. Forgot the website but it is discussed here in TW.
Did someone mentioned billet grille? :D
