    Every dirt driveway I went past had washed out into the roads, we had lots of hard fast rain here before it slowed down.

    Powers on, clocks are set, time for bed.
    But No!
    Now they're hammering the concrete around the pole to replace it.
    Of course there's 3 trucks idling, waiting to get to the pole.
    Its going to be a Good night's sleep.
    I think it would have lasted 8 hours.

    STORM=OVERTIME

    Can't begrudge them.

    Morning all!
    That was a lot of rain last night...Rain barrels went from nearly empty to pouring water out the overflow spout in about 90 minutes. Which means that the front half of my roof picked up 500+ gallons during just the FIRST part of the storm, before the thunder/lightning/heaviest rain started. I've got a 3 inch pipe running from the gutter downspout to the tank, and it looked just like a firehose at one point during the heaviest part of the storm. The garden-hose sized overflow couldn't keep up at all, but even so the duck pond is full to the brim this morning, from the overflow hose and the foundation drain.

    Right now simple tire.com has 15% off all tires. I got the wife a set of the new Cooper at3 4s since her current Cooper atw are about gone. Plus they've got a $70 rebate on Cooper's right now. I think the sale is through today.

    I usually buy online and just bring them to be mounted. The few times I've done the legwork to price it out vs buying at a tire shop it's typically the same/ less. And then I don't have to haggle with the idiots to try to get them to price match while they are trying to bury the cost in some other service.

    My wallet has an impending doom because of this & @Sloth really didn't help matters with that sale. Was looking at S/T maxxs but they have the DC Extreme Country tires in that size for almost $50 less...and that's some big savings when getting 5 tires. Shit now I don't know what to get :annoyed::frusty:
