    Cut & broke off some stuff.
    traded my tacoma for a new 2018 4Runner recently. Pics and mods coming soon.

    Already done:
    * Window tint
    * 4xinnovation sliders
    * Northstar battery
    * LED interior lighting
    * HID headlights
    * Lifted 1.5" 2.5" front & rear (Bilstein 6112, 5160, Wheelers rear T13 coils & 10mm shims OME 2895 rear coils)
    * Ray10 wheels (painted dark bronze with dark gray ring, gloss clear)
    * 285/70-17 KO2, load C.
    * 2" trimmed off rear mudflaps.
    * BajaDesigns Squadron fog light kit on bumper
    * OEM LED fog lights
    * low pro ditch lights (BD S2s)
    * CB and DIY antenna mount
    * Dirt King ball joint style UCAs.
    * stickers :D

    Stuff still laying the garage:
    * Aux fuse box done
    * Light bars done (except I still have some unused light bars I could use...)
    * Switches done

    Planned but details not sorted yet:
    1. paint the factory roof rails a darker color? (nah, silver is good contrast to everything else being dark)
    2. skid plates (done, sorta)
    3. design/build my own roof rack? (DIY rails with off-the-shelf basket)
    4. CB antenna bracket (DIY, done)
    5. Louder muffler. done, MBRP catback.

    I claim today's Brass Balls Award.

    Used HarborFreight ratchet strap as coil spring compressor.

    If I had died, would have also won a Darwin Award. :oops:

    Bilstein 6112 & 5160 plus Wheeler 1.5" rear lift coils.
    No alignment yet but still tracks straight.
    Flexed it out good in the driveway. Need to adjust reservoir position slightly to clear tires better when stuffed.

    Seems to ride as smooth as stock on street and a lot less nose dive when braking.

    Put on the spare 34 left from the Taco to see where to trim for new tires once they get mounted. The 34 might be ok on road but definitely more work than I'm willing to do to make them clear for trail use.

    Going to see if upgraded headlights and fogs will be good enough to avoid light bars. Not happy with the look of any place I've tried so far for mounting a bar and don't really want to block radiator at all.

    So, I ordered a HID kit for low beam and BajaDesigns Squadron with fog mounting plate. :D

    Let me know how you like the Bajas. Did you get amber or white? I have HIDs in the lows, LEDs in the highs, and Morimoto fogs.

    Got the "amber wide-cornering".
    Kinda like the look of Morimotos better but got a combo deal on the Squadrons that made it worth trying.

    Got the tires & wheels on, HID kit installed, and trimmed 2" off rear mudflaps.

    Recent pics of it all polished up showing off lift, wheels, tires, HID headlights, plus the BD Squadrons in the foglight spot.

    I repainted the wheels since they had some rockrash from being on the truck. Used a dark bronze metallic with dark gray metallic outer ring and a gloss clear. Depending on how the light hits them they can look black, bronze, gray, or even silver-ish.
    The HIDs are great at night. Plenty bright with a clean level cutoff and definitely an upgrade from stock.
    The Squadron lights seem really bright for their size.
    Tires shipped quick and the guys at local DT shop got them mounted and balanced nicely.
    Bilstein lift rides great on the road. A friend rode with me recently and is now jealous of how nice it rides.

    And these guys... :spending: (but I'm ok with it :fistbump:)
