Replace the boot. Replace the outer one while.you have it off.

Good news is that unless the CV itself fails, the axle can't come appart, there isn't room.

Are you talking about the ECGS bushing install or cv axle reboot? Not sure if I'll have time to do 2, but you're welcome to come.

Seriously tho, bourbon is not required. I have so many unopened bottles at home

Yeah I ordered the ECGS bearing and haven't installed it yet..........not gonna lie greasing the drive shaft and diff fluid change helps. But it is still noticeable just less.

See if they still work as shocks? You'd have to open them up to really tell.

    Warning: rant/venting ahead.

May 15: I take my truck in to have my frame inspected at the dealership in Leesburg (who I have had great results with in the past). Fails frame inspection. There is no loaner available, so they tell me to check back Monday. Was told the whole process would take about 4-6 weeks.
May 21: Call dealership, no loaner available. Told I will get a call when one is available. I ask if they are able to order the new frame and I can bring the truck in once it is received so as to minimize time without the truck. Service writer didn't know but would call me back.
June 8: Have not received a call back about whether frame can be ordered or whether there is a loaner available. Call dealership, am told I will get a call back about both things. I did get a call back after I left a voicemail. Was told they would look into whether they could order frame.
June 29: Still no action. Left voicemail for service writer.
July 12: Have not gotten a call back from Leesburg Autonation Toyota. Called Warrenton Toyota to see if they could order me a frame, they could but couldn't if Leesburg had already ordered one. Still waiting on a call back from Leesburg Toyota.
Today, July 18: Call Leesburg Autonation Toyota. Woman who answered in service department was very nice, but told me they have a wait list for loaners, which is at this point in mid August. She doesn't know whether they can order a frame or not, and will call me back.

It's now been 8 weeks since I first took my truck in and there has been, apparently, zero progress on the dealership's end. Am I doing something wrong here?
