Just wondering if they are any long term benefits for having a TRD exhaust than stock on my tacoma. I liked the quiet ride with the stock and the TRD exhaust is starting to annoy me. Will having this exhaust make my truck last longer or run better? I'm not worried about horse power, just what's best for my truck.

No. If you don't like the sound there's not much reason to have it.

Imagine if he had an exhaust that was actually loud haha. I love my TRD myself. Not annoying to me but it's heard when you want it to be. Love the look of the tip too.

I added a 18" resonator in front of the muffler. I like it much better.

Agreed! Just enough tone for people outside to say, "Hey that sounds good." without disturbing phone calls or the stereo inside the truck.

It's all personal taste. The TRD gets you a bit more power from mid-to high rpms, and a bit more sound, but that's it. If you like it quiet, go back, it's your truck do what works for you.

Yeeaaahhhh, but the difference between a big block v8 and a low cube v6 is just a bit different.
