Dick Cepek is a good tire. Mickey Thompson, Pro Comp and Dick Cepek are all about the same. They are all made by Cooper

Edit; Maybe not Pro Comp. They were in 2010 but can't find any current info

    :notsure:

Good to know had never heard of Dick Cepek before but, had seen people having good experience with them on the 255/85R16 thread

I went with simpletire.com for the X3's and they had the lowest price plus free/fast shipping. Had a really good experience using them, and was just going to recommend that sale  I never purchase tires at the shops on-island, way too pricey and always getting squirmy about mounting 33's

Same here... I'm really contemplating keeping my plywood bed cover, adding a headache rack and not getting a cap for this truck. Problem is, the headache rack I like is like $700

Need to put the finishing touches on the truck sleeping platform, need to wire in the switches and run the wiring for my plow beacon and auxiliary reverse lights for plow season. Both are on hold until after firewood and garden season, because right now those are taking up most of my spare time and are more pressing than either of the truck projects.

Not sure, I haven't got that far yet. Back Rack seems to have a common rack and then you buy the mounting kit separate. The one I'm looking at is custom made in Maine and all aluminum. I can't tell if Ford changed the dimensions of the bed from 2016 to 17. I suppose the easiest way would be to just go on site and measure one of the work trucks...
This is the one I like:

    They're a good rack, though.

Just ask them if they’ll mount tires for a raptor and if they say yes call them out on how those are 35s. Or better yet the new wrangler rubicon’s are 33 from the factory.

But yeah everything on island is always overpriced

I'm considering a Magnum rack for the Ram, but it'll probably be for next winter. This year I need to buy a plow for it, and even with already having the push plates, wiring, and controller that'll be all of the expense I'll want to dump into it for one season

Yeah, I really like that it's aluminum. Anything steel will eventually rust, especially after it gets scratched up. It's overkill for what I'll actually use it for, but I'll have it for a long time. Plus, the inner redneck in me likes the lights :anonymous:

Are you going to go with the red brake lights and the clear spots, or are you opting for the amber hazards?

Nope, you imagined it through a haze of vape smoke backlit by a pile of lights lifted from a Quadrophenia scooter.
