I gotta get to my buddy to weld a spacer on my steering bumps. When I turn at full lock I currently bump my reservoirs and uca's so need about 1/2" spacer welded on before I can even really drive this.

yep! I think SPC UCA's and non-reservoir would be the way to go. the total chaos ucas are shaped a little differently than the SPC and the farthest part out on them is where I rub right now.

Really? Your turning radius has already increased with the taller tires - now you want further limit your turning ability?

There's got to be a better way to solve this problem.

Have you considered getting longer hoses for your reservoir cylinders, allowing you to mount them out of the way of your tires?

With as many people as there are on here running 35-37" tires with TC UCAs, that can't be the issue.

I've considered going no-resi for an even better solution, but that doesn't solve the UCA rubbing.

In looking at it with @Davtopgun and @TacoAlaMode there isn't a great way to really fix it.

The spacer is minor. You're overthinking what 1/2" will do to the steering, if you turn yours to full lock then just 1/2" off of that, you won't really tell a difference in your turning.

I understand that all tires are different. I still have a hard time believing that the UCA is the issue.

    Maybe lower your caster?

if I lower my caster it will put me into the back of my wheel well, which has already been sledgehammered about as much as it can be. The UCA, combined with my tires, combined with my wheels, combined with my alignment, combined with whatever else is the issue. Not JUST the UCA.

Wouldn't more backspacing also solve the issue? Try the wheel spacers and see what happens?

that would probably put me more into my wheel well back by the cab mount, which I have no more space for..

Wheel spacers would cause his wheels to stick out further, making a larger arch when he turns. That may cause him to miss his UCA's, but we can't cut or smash any more without getting into the floorboard of his truck so that won't work.

Seems like the obvious solution is to drive to @EddyRRT and have him tub the firewall
