Because Houston and I was idling for about 30 minutes. That temp is sampled from the MAF and it’s super hot in the engine bay.

I work in a shop with no A/C. Sometimes when I get back from lunch break I like to just sit and chill for a bit.

Could that gauge display on the pioneer head unit be displayed on a Samsung tablet?

The Maestro is designed to work with aftermarket radios that have an “iDatalink” interface.

If you want something to display on a phone, you would need something like PLX Kiwi or Carista.

    Nice! Looks familiar.

Screen looks really shiny. Is that a capacitive screened deck?

ECU question: Anybody heard of these guys? https://www.boomslang.com/index.php
While not on their website, they make a harness adaptor for my 80 series Land Cruiser. That got me looking for the Tacoma. It's not listed in 2013, but there is a Tundra with the 1gr-fe engine. Is that a typo? Did the Tundra come with the 1gr? I haven't contacted them yet. Could this be an option for using a Haltech or some other mainstream ecu? This whole computer thing is not something I fully understand, so I figure someone here will set me straight.

The tundras did come with the 1GR. Apparently there was also a 2wd reg cab model that was offered with the 1GR & the 6spd manual. Super rare combo though as it was basically the work/utility truck package

How different could the harness be? Couldn't a tuner with a "regular" aftermarket ecu tune any engine. Again, these are things I don't know.
