I'd be down for a morning run up that way as i have to work at noon, if anything the meadow up there is really epic and a great spot to fish the creek and hang out.

I believe we're going to do a run, yes. I'm not sure where @TacoSauceHB wants to head out to, but since he's the trip planner, I'm sure he'll decide. I certainly want to go driving around and see some scenery, so I'm game.

There was a sweet little A frame cabin available a few months ago that I was looking at.. it looked like it was walking distance to some lifts. Has to be sold by now, it seemed inexpensive for the area.

Yeah my friend has a place in snowcreekIV where I stay last 4 years

I did some searches and the prices were pretty low comparatively speaking

Only issue is I don’t know if it rents out how many % time it’s rented

Seems like the local large management companies take 44% of all earnings

Yes there's a unofficial designated area off 203, i believe the road is called Antelope Valley road(make a left before getting on 395 south or north) and the spot is about 1-2 miles down and its on your right. just make sure to clean up your rounds and trash.

    Air bnb.

Just be sure to have at least two cleaning services on standby but the more the better.

You can usually cover the mortgage with a couple weeks rentals. Maybe only a couple weekends depending on the number of people and current rates. Cleaning is included in the rental rate.

    No management company needed.

Make sure if that your plan to Air BnB, that the house your looking at is in an area that allows Air Bnb style rentals, certain like where i'm located on Joaquin dont allow that type of short term rental.

I was thinking Saturday morning to go check Laurel Lakes, if for some reason we cant make it up the trail then we can check out some other options, Ill try to come up with a plan B and C. Laurel seems to be the best run of the options, but there are going to be a few DCLB aka Trail Limo's so hopefully the hairpin turn isn't as bad as some people make it sound.
