Son of a gun, just looked at the dates, i have an all paid Beach house vacation paid in full with $1000 spending included courtesy of the wife's father in Clear water FL, Problem is its from Aug 6th thru 10th :/ i dare to ask him to cancel that trip and join me with you guys, i know he would have a blast but the wife..... well ya know, no more happy wife happy life after pulling a stunt like that lol, any other plans after that? My Taco is stock so nothing too serious, any of you go winter camping? we did it in Europe all the time truly AMAZING.

LOL, im originally from NORTHERN England, i like it COLD i cant do the heat even just here in Ohio people say its not hot yet im sweating buckets, keep trying to convince the wife to move to AK but she isn't having it, so next year road trip into the Arctic circle driving the Dalton Highway to the end, yes in a 2010 Taco TRD Sport DCSB with 185k on it right now, im thinking of videoing the trip, but anyhow thats why i was hoping maybe you guys go winter camping, off road is cool but winter driving where no other vehicles go is a real test of you and you're vehicle. plus is a lot of fun with a few beers.

There are several meets all year long. I think AOP or Windrock is in September, then Black Mountain in October.

Almost always a thread is started. You can follow the entire Kentucky sub-forum and get alerts. Not sure if TN and OH have their own yet

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.

21 days and 3 hours from now, roughly, we'll be slangin baby batter all over each other!

Got a couple odds n ends I've put off WAY TOO LONG that I wouldn't mind to finish on the truck.

I’m usually able to get about 6 hours.
Just not enough time for work, family, hobbies, home/car maintenance and sleep... something has to give. Right now that is fixing my truck...

If I have to choose between paying bills and spending time with my family vs my hobbies, well, there is no choice to make.
I even contemplated selling the truck. Wife told me “no.” Not even let’s talk about it. Just “no.”

It will get fixed. I just need some extra time. And I have to do the timing belt and water pump, along with bushings, ball joints and shocks on hers first...

And she wants me to buy her a house, and not work so much :frusty:
