Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I understand completely, and have the same concerns.

Some people are already asking if you tried flashing back to stock and/or "did your truck do this before tuning it" - never having read what you posted!!

That's how the shitstorm starts.

To be clear, I'm interested in hearing about this issue. Just trying to ward off BS.

 

All that was needed was to say it happened before and after the tune in the initial post . I was just clarifying, as I don’t have the tune yet, and am sure others appreciate the clarification.

1.05 Releases Before Sept 1rst. 1.05 Power map, 1.05 MPG Map, 87, 91, 93. 1.05 TCU

One question, will the throttle enhancements (more cable like response you mentioned) be available across all versions of 1.05?

 

Also, with all the map stuff, the power map is purely for 93+ octane correct? And the mpg maps are for all octanes?

 

Can we hold you to these promises?

Holy Moly... Twin turbo? Are you just using the Lexus V6 OEM turbo parts?

 

I ‘believe’ he said powermap will be 91octane and 93 as 87 is pointless

 

Ovtune + ECT + S mode = ???

 

I just had a muffler shop weld in the biggest muffler that would fit, still feeling like I am getting more power than stock and it is a lot quieter than before. Cost me a little bit more to do it but I love the style of the 3 inch pipe and aggressive chrome tip.

 

Whyd u get a bigger muffler? Wanted it more quiet

 

Any word on when those of us that are waiting for the registration key can expect to get it?

 

Yeah, I am deaf in my right ear and the tone of the manga flow was just at the right pitch that it ground on my left ear and gave me an ear ache. I don't like returning stuff, its a hassle so i just changed the muffler. It was unbearable before, it's a nice pur now. Little louder than stock when you get on it but fairly quiet at 70 plus.
I only return shit when my wife and kids buy shit, look at it when they get home and throw it in the closet. Nice thing about Nordstrom is you can return shit after a year and they still refund most of your money!

 

Praise God, I didn't see this post before I podted a little further down the thread, I also resent my order with the correct details in one email. Hope your new pad and office are all set up!
