You're all exactly right. Line-X is quite expensive, and tough to fix if you do manage to damage it. I'm just hedging my bets that I won't do enough crazy offroading to damage it, otherwise I'll have to take it off to have it fixed. Buy once, cry once. Unless I abuse it, then I'll probably cry more often.

Plus it just looks so damn sexy!

Pretty crazy comparing LineX stuff to the Ford Factory Spray in Liner. Can def see how much more robust LineX is.

Yeah it's cool stuff! Sprays on at a couple hundred degrees, dries in 10 seconds. I got the UV stable top coat done on mine, so it looks just as great as when I bought it!

I got my new to me tires mounted today thanks to @replica9000 . The way the tread is I think I may occassionally rub the UCAs when compressing the front end. I'm not sure though. Any advice? The ride is a little stiffer but that is to be expected coming from a passenger tire. The road noise isn't too bad either. Overall I'm happy with it. I'm looking to rid of the old tires. 265/65r17 Futura Scramblers so if anyone is interested let me know. Also if anyone has any suggestions on PSI to run Cooper ST Maxxs in 255/80r17 let me know as well. Thanks.

Best thing to do is the chalk test. I think I had the tires around 32/30 psi, but your truck is a little heavier than mine.

I'm going to rattle can them and probably do bedliner on the top side to satisfy the wife to use them as steps.

If I go that route, red lights and clear inside lights. If the clear ones are bright enough, I’ll wire them to their own switch so they can be used as bed lights.

I second this on both counts. Very chip resistant. My steps are stainless. I just scuffed, 3 primer coats and three Berliner coats. It’ll stick better directly on primer.

Finally ordered my lift. Bilstein 6112’s and 5160’s. Can’t wait to finally take out the spacers.

New grill for the boat, tailgating, barbecues... However it's too big to haul around for camping trips as it takes up nearly half of my bed slide.
