Does anyone know the weight needed for the passenger side airbag to come "on"?

My 91 pound girlfriend doesn't make it turn on. Just noticed this after 10 months of ownership lol.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
If she doesn't turn the air bag on, then that's a good thing. Air bag deployment could cause more damage to her being she is a twig. :D

Not really a twig, she is just 4'10". Never really payed attention to it until this weekend. It turns on when I'm in the pass seat just not for her.

I'm not sure about the airbag but my 10lbs backpack makes the annoying seatbelt alarm comes on.

Yeah the seatbelt light/dinger comes on/flashes but the airbag "on" or "off" light doesn't come on with her weight.

Don't know exactly, but my 80lb son does not set if off, unless he's holding something reasonably heavy. So your GF's weight must be right about at the tipping point. Set a 12-pack or two in her lap and see if that sets it to on. Might even consider a boob job, or butt implants, or take her back to high school :)

The system judges a person of adult size as an adult. When a smaller adult sits in the front passenger seat, the system may recognize him/her as a child depending on his/her physique and posture.

Yeah set her in the seat and then use something to add weight, then just see when it turns on. Then you can get back to us on how much actual weight is needed to turn it on.;)

Just knock her up and see when she finally trips the sensor. My guess, late in the second trimester.
