Idk.... maybe confusion in the kits... the rcd 5100's are for a 3 to 5 inch lift and standard are for 0 to 3 inch lift

RCD is a Race Car Dynamics, those extended shocks are their spec and will have their sticker on them.

Can the standard set run the Dakar set? Even though it lists AAL and 3 lead AAL?

Will they work is not a yes or no question. The problem is they are just not long enough for the Dakar’s. At ride height they will be extended an addtional couple inches which won’t allow for much down travel, this means your topping out the shock more frequently. The OME shock is the only shock that works with Dakar’s and requires no modifications to anything else.

I have been running mine (rcd) 5100's and standards with the stock leaf pack with two extra short leaves above my overload leaf (not aal that lifts tradionally with more arc) a 1 inch block and hellwig helper springs maxed out.

Ok. Thanks for the help. So what's my best option? Just run the OME setup?

Or should I run the standard 5100 with with aal or block?

    UCA of choice

    Rear:
    5100s (standard)
    3leaf Progressive AAL

Better ride with 3” front and 2” rear with overload left in (overload is the bottom leaf spring in the stock pack).

So that's where 3aal comes in? 3 get added to the already existing stock parts, without removing them? Hence the name of aal I suppose. And I would guess the front left gets a different piece from the lean?

With 5100s in the front a 1/4” spacer ont he driver side usually fixes any lean.

Yes. I did mine because i am cheap. My leaf pack monstrosity cost 85 bucks, but rides like a champ unloaded or loaded up.

Which would yield more lift? OME or the 5100?

They lift the same, it’s the spring that does the lifting. This is assuming your using the 5100 on the lowest setting.
