Parking brake issue and now the brake pedal

I engaged the parking brake the other day for the first time.
When it was disengaged it was still somewhat engaged.
After cycling the parking brake a number of times it fully disengaged.

Now when I hard brake the pedal will return to the ready position about 50% of the way, paused and then pop to the ready position.

The truck in in the shop as we speak getting the leaf TSB and trd exhaust as well as getting the brake looked at.

Anyone have such an issue? Was there a fix.
Truck has 2500 miles on it.

 

Turned out the hack the dealer had install the remote starter did a shitty job and was interferring with the break pedal.
Dealer gave me crap about it may not be a warranty issue and i would need to leave tr car for the day. No loaner.
Really, after some yelling they offered up a 24 hour rental at their expense.

 

Dealers are the worse scum on earth. They install and not cover their own work. Worthless 100%. They make lawyers and politicians look like saints.

The dealer I went today screwed up and ordered the wrong parts for the tsb and trd exhaust. The installed the skid plate (no that much work) and synthetic oil change upgrade for free.
Although they were kinda busy charging $525 for a front wheel bearing replacement, and another older person $75 for a cabin air filter and rear window wiper replacement.

 

Parking brakes are cable operated. If not used frequently, they can hang up. It can stay partialy or fully engaged. Have it checked. If inclined, check it yourself. Pull the wheel and drums. Have someone else actuate while you watch.
