    Upon killing my 2002 Ford F-150 XLT truck at a little over 303,000 miles, we did a ton of research and decided on a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off-Road Pro. Though I am still sad at the loss of my ole’ white truck (RIP “Simone”), we are super excited to personalize our newest addition for lots of overland exploration.

    I introduce you to our happy new truck, Sophie (changed from her initial naming of Zoa). She’s already taken us on a cool maiden voyage along the Eastern Sierras and we are looking forward to many, many, more off-road adventures.
