    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Seriously... anyone who is on the fence about this because they are worried about how hard the trail is... Don't worry about it. This is a fire road. Not a technical trail.

All this is, is a road trip to a nice scenic spot and a gathering of friends. There is nothing to worry about. You wont need armor OR 4wd.

I'm hoping we can get as many people as possible so we can get this local community of Taco owners together and let it be the start of many future things to come.

It will be smokey from the Yosemite fire. I was up in Murphy’s today and you can’t even see the Sierras. Columbia and Murphy had a layer of smoke, not sure about Relief Reservoir

I've never hit any trails off of Hwy 4 in case we need a change of plans?

Relief is a long way away from the fire. We may see some smoke bit I don't think it'll be that bad. I hunt 2 or 3 valleys away from relief extensively. Been up there when fires were burning closer than this one and couldn't even tell a difference.

If I come I have a propane grill as well. I made a custom overland drawer myself. Just got back from a road trip up to Whistler BC Canada with my son to mountain bike EE16B8DF-6468-4D21-AD32-7C297E315337.jpg4F3631B7-5DB4-4C35-B719-C649BC82B26B.jpgA23B96EA-5C4F-47F6-87A9-1D833A6E74D3.jpg

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

The yellow area is the Ferguson fire. The upper orange dot is where we're going. Modesto is actually closer to the fire than Relief Reservoir.

I'm actually thinking I might camp up there Sunday night. Not positive yet, but leaning that way.

Not sure why I dont get notification for this forum. They need their own app.
But the sticker idea would be cool.

I'd say it'll take about an hour to get down the fire road where we're going off 108.

Then however long you want to hang out, and an hour back up the fire road to 108.

Not smokey today. The wind yesterday was blowing it right towards us. With that said I’m almost done with my list and whatever I don’t finish Saturday I won’t care about. So I’m in with the boyfriend. We’ll be at the Sonora Safeway
