Not sure I don't have the truck right now it's at Toyota still for at least 2 more weeks according to the service guy. Guess Magnuson is taking their sweet time rebuilding it

Sadly the likelihood of someone having a spruce locally that I could swap fenders with is not looking good.

 

Man I don’t think I need/want a snorkel but at the same time, it could be the closest I’ll come to owning a whale dick.

 

I go back-and-forth. On the one hand a snorkel should bring your cleaner air for dust but on the other it’s just one more thing to get caught up on low branches of trees. The other thing is vehicles nowadays have so many electronic components that it doesn’t really significantly increase your water crossing height

 

I did mine for the fact of getting bigger tires and removing the inner fender / needed more EAF points

 

Hmm I do like bigger tires and that reasoning, I would have to get rid of me afe setup and toss on the stick air box, which almost probably makes this free once selling it....

Yeah we would need to swap stock boxes too cause you cut the end of the factory part that sticks into the fender well

I can’t find a good picture of it right now but mesojdm found a compatible scoop for a Prado I think... anyways it’s more streamlined and sits more flush with the roof so it doesn’t look like a big bellend at the top.

 

What about the Safari Snorkel?
