I feel like obvious is put a tiny little spacer on the steering bump. Would still have a better turning radius than a long bed.

Anybody have recommendations on a fender trim that I can put over the edge to give it a nice clean edge?

I have always seen guys keeping it naked unless they throw on those plastic pocket style fenders which even then likely wouldn't do anything. You could always be like the cool kids and just run some glass?

lol definitely not putting the money into glass. the way we cut the fenders we did little 1 inch section cuts and folded each piece back under the fender, to keep the strength, but it gives it a little bit of an unclean edge up close. Just thinking some automotive trim like this https://smile.amazon.com/MATCC-Guar...UTF8&qid=1532000910&sr=8-9&keywords=auto+trim would do it well.

Ouch man Im surprised you did it that way...any inconsistent deformations in the fender by crimping it off that way? I forgot the struggles of going to dirties with mine since I already had glass.

nah no deformations, it came out quite clean honestly, I think I just want some trim on the edge of it. the fender still has lots of strength to it too, which I like.

Cant go wrong if it held its strength...hopefully no paint chipped in the process.

none at all! with using painters tape to mark off the whole fender edge we went around and made "vertical" marks ever 1" and used a cutting wheel then bent back each 1", flap if you wheel, into the wheel well. painted over the cuts with the tape still on then just removed all of the tape.
