I just planned a last minute trip to Moab. I'm heading to Telluride/Ouray area with some friends for a week and decided to go up a few days early and see Moab for the first time. I'll be solo (besides my family) for the Moab part. I already have my permit and reservations for the white rim trail. I'm running that the 19th and 20th and staying at Murphy C. I don't have to be in Telluride until later Sunday. Time TBT right now. I might have to be there at 2-3 or later that night, but it will likely be 5-6pm range. It appears to be a ~3 hour drive. What good trails can I do without spending most of the day doing it. I wanted to go to the top of the world, but solely because the pics look cool. My funtreks book says 3-5 hours. Is that accurate? Any short memorable trails I could hit Sunday before heading out or maybe the day I get into Moab if I have enough time?

Truck is a locked in the rear and high clearance bumpers on both ends, sliders and skids to the t-case with 33s.

    Thanks

I'll likely just do TOTW early and head to Colorado after

There's a whole section in the Forums on Moab. You are already here. Read the posts. :bananadead::annoyed:

    So? It's still good advice.

Over 6k in posts in under 2 years (and I'm sure every one a true gem) you'd certainly be the expert in post padding. LOL.

Its funny because OP came to the Moab section to post a thread months ago for a trip that was months ago. Then you come in here months later thinking you are being slick and share that he is already in the moab section and to read the posts. That is so very helpful and literally added nothing to this already dead thread. I post alot of BS... you know, in BS threads. I cant say Ive dug up a dead thread to add nothing. One day, you will learn to forum well. Until then, good day.

    Well there's your problem.

I was responding to Gamerfan, not the OP. I could have quoted that post but didn't. I'll consider quoting posts more and you consider posts may be responding to the previous post and not directly to the OP.
