    I dont have radio on mine. I just play from my phone. I think @loginfailed has radio capability but I dont knw what he did.

    Just loaded up the ovtune. Went for a drive and a few full throttle runs.

    Mods: 2.7 pulley
    Afe intake
    Full urd spec u
    Urd cam gears

    When I first installed the ucon I wasnt that impressed. Then I got a stock ecu and it was very noticeable

    The ovtune is the same, didnt notice much difference from the trd tune Ive been on. This is my 2 mile review. More to come in the next few days

    I have their harness for my 2006 Tacoma to Haltech Elite 2500.

    @Hacktacular , at one point purchased a plug n play Unichip, for his '09+ Tacoma. Sent that in to them to Boomslang, to have them make a plug n play jumper harness, for his Elite 2500.

    OBD still works, but slightly different. Haltech basically controls it. However, an inspection center can still see the cam sensor code, and injectors code. Despite there not being a light. Luckily they are not worried about those codes here.

    The way around that, would be an AEM, which connects into the CAN system. Or the self tuning version of the OVTune.

    All of the normally controlled functions are untouched. Factory ECU is still there.

    Boomslang is a reputable company and communicates well. Every install is a bit different. In my case everything works as normal except for the OEM traction control or VSC and the temp gauge. The reason for that is because I took over the DBW (drive by wire) with my Haltech.
    I also took over the CEL (check engine light) from the OEM. The VSC lamp is lit because of this. The only other thing that doesn't work correctly is the dashboards temp gauge, again because I have taken that over to allow the Haltech to see it.
    I need to get another sensor installed so that the OEM can have a sensor of its own. I usually run an OBD app on my phone to monitor the temps and other data coming out of the Haltech. I could also easily correct the traction control issue and use the Haltech for that but I kind of like having the ability to :burnrubber: if my heart desires. Let us know if you have any other specific questions.

    thanks. i thought they sucked. i was hoping mid 13's. it was 81 degrees and i drove an hour there. super charger was really hot. i need to get some wider tires for the rear and practice trying to launch it. i was spinning a lot on some runs too. next mod is going to be meth and killer chiller. need to cool that pig down

    I think for the money you will benefit more from the meth. No parasitic drag from the ac compressor. I tried 3 times to get an email response from killer chiller with questions as I was going to buy one. NOTHING. I email snow performance and they return my emails very quick. My experience.

    Is there anywhere we can buy a complete set of pulleys? Like crank, alt,...... I haven't found any. On that note just talked to pulley boys about it. They may be making some.

    It cannot connect to the CAN system as an independent standalone. Other vehicles where it replaces the OEM ecu, it does.
