    You might also check the voltage at the motor when you are in there. It should be the same or very little drop from what you see at the battery.

    The reason I mention this is because a voltage drop would cause it to roll up slow. When I upgraded my alternator to a GM CS144, the roll up speed of my window increased quite a bit. This would indicate it was slow before the change because of the low voltage output from the stock alt.

    Let’s say it’s a voltage drop. What would cause that? Battery? Alternator? The reason why is because I’m noticing my back passenger window going slow too.

    Does a square main to make much of a difference? Looking at the 4x Innovations sliders. The DOM with kickouts are in stock while the DOM with kickout and square main tube is 4-6 weeks out.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Corrosion too, but my windows have gonna up slow before and a bit of SuperLube helps em, same with the track arm and roller

    Supposedly stronger. I have the all HREW ones and I haven't done any lasting damage to em yet.

    It could be a corrosion issue or a poor connection or wiring to the window's motor.

    The HREW works just fine if your not carring a lot of weight. The difference between square or round tube for the main doesn’t matter. It’s the wall of tube that matters. If it’s at least .120 it should do just fine. My .02

    Good to know, I doubt I'd hit anything hard enough to mess them up that bad. I mainly just don't want to ruin the brand new rocker panel

    Make sure the tracks it rides in are like the should be and not too tight. Make sure the rubber inserts in the tracks are not coming out or crooked. Grease everything on the window regulators. Basically grease everything that moves. After you get the panel off WD40 every connection point and gears and reapply grease.

    Yeah sounds like I need to start with some TLC since it hasn’t been done in years. Put everything back together and try it. And if it still runs slow check voltage then go from there. Thanks I’ll work on it this weekend.

    Some of what you are seeing could stem from that. IIRC, my stock one struggled to output any higher than 14.0VDC.

    I also think that as the years go by, the old wiring plays a role as well. Simply redoing the ground wiring can sometimes make a big difference. I'm not certain of how much my GM alt alone did because I also did the "big 3" ground wire upgrade at the same time, but on cold start up I typically see 14.7-14.8VDC. And typically running voltage with a fully charged batteries is ~14.4.

    I’m planing on upgrading my electrical but with lack of OT this year I’m going to have to push it to next year. My priority now is linking the rear. If hrs pick up then electrical is next. Just need to get by for now.
