I own a 2001 Double Cab V6 Automatic, Black, TRD Off Road Package. 256K. I love this truck. Best vehicle I've ever owned. If it died tomorrow (but not today, I need it today), I would still be happy with this truck. I am the original owner. Bought it in January of 2001 in Chicago while working there on contract for three months before heading back home to Nebraska (a non-salt state,,,, sure). Had a remanufactured tranny put in at 180K; the old one finally ate itself. Had belt/waterpump done at 200K. I've replaced the oxygen sensors, done my own caliper and pad work. Back brakes are original. Drums just don't wear out, but I am going to do a complete rear brake job soon. Original suspension. Still tight, but I think I may replace the sway bar, tie rod ends, stabilizers, and strut assemblies in the near future. Afterall, at 255K how much longer can they last? Power steering, alternator, starter, etc... are all original. Never replaced. I've had this truck for 17 years and haven't put more than a few thousand into it over that time (mostly for the tranny). Only real issue I am having now is the frame rust. I will jump in on the appropriate forum for advice. I love this forum and have gotten much use out of it and thought it may be time to give back. Truck looks great and idles at 700RPMs as smooth as a purring kitty.

Would like to post a pic, but I use my truck for my business and it has advertising all over it. Need to check forum rules before posting a pic.
