Here's a convo from another thread about spring length vs spring rate, you see where the confusion comes from usually

Id get it done next time I rebuild them. Would I just ask them to soften them up?

Depending on who's doing it they'll have some questions to ask about your preferences for ride feel and they'll take into account your weight and spring rate.

I have no experience with them, I'd just feel them out first and ask what info they need to dial your ride in.

I'm not sure where Concord is exactly, but @Anthony250 is in SoCal (San Gabriel) and he rebuilt my SAWs for me and got it done super quick (picked them back up less than 2 days later).

I'll sell you my rebuilt 2.0 SAWs if you're interested...I got them for that reason (to run while my Kings get rebuilt) but my guy is local and gets it done fast so I can just bum a ride to work for a couple days.

Might be overkill but if you're interested let me know, gonna list them for $500 but there's a little wiggle room.

I got my replacement stock bumper. Not oem it's just a temporary fix till I get a CBI one. But on a positive note it's powder coated black and matches my ARB bumper nicely

DOM is a harder steel. Put a piece of 1.75” HREW in a manual bender and bend it. Then put 1.75” DOM in there and bend it. DOM takes more effort.

Not 100 sure but I think HREW isn’t a true .120 like DOM. I would have to measure it when I get home. HREW is sold in gauge thickness

when it comes to sliders there the cheaper options in terms of armor and the most likely to see some knocks. in my opinion i would get the stronger option even if i think there overkill its a nice investment just in case you add more weight to the rig.

And that’s why it’s nice to build your truck to your liking. If that’s worth it to you “do it” if it’s not then don’t. You don’t know how many people told me not to link my truck because it’s over kill. Or don’t convert to 4x4..... But here I am.
