    Currently, there are only three of us on here with a Haltech. All in the turbo BS thread. Standalones are inherently complicated. As you generally have to wire everything up, or purchase a pre-fabricated jumper harness. Then you have to configure all of the sensors and settings.

    Then you have to tune it.

    Having unlimited access, control, and flexibility, is trade-off with cost, complexity, and high potential to damage one's goods if too aggressive or unskilled.


    If someone has a great base tune file though, it saves A LOT of headache. Should they be willing to share that file.

    If you are referring to the temp gauge issue, yes. It can be removed from the harness and use its own sensor. But as Torspd mentioned, it is not a replacement. It is a parallel install.

    I hesitate to plug (NST) NonStop Tuning. They make/made a complete pulley kit. My experience with them wasn't pleasant....nonexistent communication, delayed delivery (took 5 months), etc... but in the end, i did get all my pullies and the product was decent.

    Buyer beware. Proceed at your own risk with NST

    I remember reading a previous comment about that. Made me wonder why more people aren't running their product. Thought I'd hint that to pulley boys. Cant hurt to have more options.

    Thanks! Not specifically for the exhaust. I posted a clip a couple weeks ago in this thread showing intercooler temps. You mostly only hear supercharger. PM me if you want more info.
