Haven't done a thing with my Taco this week other than to drive it.

At the stealership this morning getting my 10K service.





The waiting begins. 90 min estimate.....sheesh. Don't know if I can handle the waiting.

Hopefully they will demonstrate better listening this time around than at the 5K. Wasn't picky, but had asked for a few things with zero follow up from them. I'm going to attribute it to the guy I handed my keys over to. He seemed distracted with from doing his job.

Maybe the nice gal this morning will do better. She had a great smile, at least.





EDIT: Literally been sitting here less than 5 minutes and the salesman that sold me my Tacoma 9 months ago has walked by the customer lounge 3 times looking around. I'm convinced they get some type of alert when we show up for services and opt to wait it out in the lounge.

He's gonna have me test driving the sweet TRD Pro in the lobby. Damn truck is superbadass. I must resist. I must resist.

Now....why couldn't they have the soon to arrive redesigned Supras on the lot. That would be a sweet test drive !!!!!

Installed the front bed rail this morning...my Tundra had it stock, so kinda irritating it isn't there on the Tacoma. Was going to do the end caps, but the damn things are almost as much as the rail for two of them

 

Installed my Demello round tube sliders. I still need to drill out the bottom holes but for now there are 4 side bolts and one bottom bolt holding in each side.

 

I just found them on Ebay Might be more sellers.

The price seems cheap, may be poor quality construction, or low introductory price to gain feedback?

I would like to see each function/video of them.

It's gonna be a tight fit that will limit the leg room for the front seat, but when you're able to do the forward facing seat you will get back all the room up front.

 

Thank you! I ended seeing later on the thread someone else asked about your lift components and saw you went with the firm 900000. I am in a similar boat (going cheap at first, or just diving head in and getting what I want) Sweet looking rig of course. Every time I see a cement gray taco driving around, I have color envy. It wasnt an option in 16'

Thanks i have ended up making a few for some members here too. I think it’s a cool little personal “mod”. I am about to update mine though. Been playing around with putting the end of a shotgun shell in the middle of it. Made a keychain last night for a work friend and put one in it and it came out better than i thought so i think I’m going to put some in my grab handles. Yeah i live in the country lol.
