I live in SoCal and mine came off without much effort at all, didn't even need a breaker bar just a normal wrench and some muscle. They are/should be torqued on there pretty good. I think those with trouble are ones in the rust-prone states where the get seized on.

Despite being stuck between the vegans and State of Jefferson folks, I still like it here, lol.

Nice weather (although it's hot as balls right now), no rust, no stuck bolts. I'm just a short drive to the beach or the high mountains.

There are also advantages to working on a college campus during spring and fall... :anonymous:

Most definitely.. We both have our secrets, though...

The was an article in Sacramento Magazine a few years ago. The title was "10 best things about Sacramento" or something like that. Most of the items were things like "close to Tahoe" (i.e. NOT Sacramento) or the wineries (also not in Sacramento).

So: The best thing about Sacramento is... Not Sacramento...

Sac town is a bit of a shit hole, theres some good food, mikuni sushi, a bomb little deli by the convention center. I cant remember the name of it, but proximity to the mountains and napa are its best features. Everyone I know who grew up in sac town bailed. The ones that didnt wound up on some bad drugs.

Sitting here waiting to get my wheels changed out. These Goodyear TrailRunners could play a part in my future. Someday. I keep telling myself I'm gonna take a break from buying truck stuff, but as I type this I'm remebering I have to order my stainless brake lines and Hawk pads still. Its just money, right? 0720181256.jpg

Only two things come from Texas... and I don't see no horns...

My drug of choice is SCIENCE, BITCHES!

I grew up in a little gold rush town in the foothills. Got outta there as fast as I could. Moved to a slightly bigger cow town (no, not Vacaville - which literally means "cow town").

Sac is just like any other town/city. it's got some shitty parts, like North Highlands, some decent parts.

I see a lot of people getting all defensive of their town, but I'm not going to lay down on my sward professing allegiance to my town like some people do. It's just a town where I happen to park myself.

It is funny seeing the socal fanbois chime in talkin' bout how much sac sucks. At least we don't have to pipe our water from 800 miles away over multiple mountain passes...:D At least we put our city near a water source...
