No no . Firewood is for camping and roasting hotdogs .
On the other hand landfills are already there and a cow spike is inexpensive and operator friendly.

As a new father (and before I had a kid)I can't understand how anyone could treat a child like this. I agree with you guys, the punishment for, I hesitate to call them people, should be so severe that it sends a message to all of the other sick pieces of shit in the world that the behavior will not be tolerated.

Drugs and desperation... and just generally the elephant in the room that is human nature.

And that’s also why it’ll never be a good enough example to avert people from doing this sort of shit. See the unfortunate truth is humans are animals, and we just happen to have a real exceptional capacity to do something miserable to one another. If you think people didn’t rape, steal, and abuse kids in the era of being drawn and quartered or put in the brazen bull, you have to understand that this is also the era when people thought up the idea of being drawn and quartered or put in the brazen bull.

Not that I’m saying it’s completely pointless or advocating against unceremoniously culling people who stoop to that level, but I think you’re gonna find that you can never truly escape it.

And there’s my philosophy write-up for the weekend.
