I like my fallen wildpeaks atw's. Good value, lighter than the bfg's, and a good mix for on and off road. More aggressive go with a mud terrain or duratracs.

I replaced sway bar bushings. Clunk clunk is gone. Broke the welded nut off inside the frame on one bolt. Had to cut that off then drilled through to the top of the frame and put a 5" bolt through to replace it. Ugh

I traded my 2008 Taco with 336,000 miles in for a Camry, Would be too much $$$ to just get it to being OK..

Ditched my 285/75R16's and got some Dick Cepek "Extreme Country" 255/85R16's. Love them and I'm no longer buffing the UCA's.

This might be a dumb question, but is that just to keep out moisture?

How hard was it to remove the bed rails? I think I'm going to do this as well.

Not that hard. I just used a flathead screwdriver to get the 4 bolts out and then pulled up evenly till it came up

I would recommend Toyo open country A/T 2 if you want to spend around $600 and if you want some more aggressive 10 ply tires for about $1000 get the BF Goodrich KO2's! Can't go wrong in my option, trust me my wife thinks I'm nuts when it comes to my truck and mud!
