That was exactly what I was trying to get at. I'm not anti-capital punishment at all but you just gotta understand that it isn't a deterrent for some people. Some people are just not going to be swayed by anything but being put in the ground themselves.

nuuuuuuh dude that's not what I was saying at all.

Let's get this out of the way. You're my boy and I still love you too, and you can bet your ass and bottom dollar that if ANYONE hurt your baby I would choke the life out of 'em myself sure as shit. Generously apply 9mm or .223 as necessary.

What I was getting at is that we, as people, have to understand that punitive "getting even" leads us down a dark path very quickly.

So we kill a guy who raped a kid. It doesn't un-rape the kid and it feels hollow because even though he's dead, a quick death seems merciful compared to what the kid went through.
So the next time we maybe shoot him in the nuts instead, listen to him groan in agony before he bleeds out through his femoral.
Then that starts to feel hollow too. The guys bleed out too fast. It's still nothing compared to what the kid felt, or what the family feels.
So we come up with some way to prolong the agony.
    We get creative.
We as humans are VERY good at that.
We invent the Judas cradle. We invent thumbscrews and devices to rip people's genitals off with jagged blades. We invent the rack, we invent the head crusher and the lead sprinkler.

Look at where we end up.

I'm not against criminals getting what's coming to them, I'm just saying that it's a VERY fine line we tread as people, capable of immense evil. And it gets very easy to lose what we hold dearest pursuing justice.

Oh yeah man. That's what I was saying. The mother that sold her 2 year old to dudes should be given the same shit over and over and over again. And the men that did it should be passed around like a porn star trying to break a train record by all the inmates that want to participate until they die.

It makes me furious that people can treat others the way they do. I have lived my life treating others how I want to be treated.

    chevy 2500 with the 6.0

or ford f250 with the v10?

My family has 3 motorhomes all with the v10 and they seem plenty powerful and all have been reliable... but there are tons of those chevy 6.0s out there... I kind of like the ford body better than the looks of the chevy's and it seems I can find the fords more often with lower miles....

I know the fords will sometimes blow the plugs out, but with proper torque on them I've never had a problem on any of my fords that are known for that. Even my 11.5:1 compression built mustang that had heads with that problem never spit one... so I'm not terribly worried about that.

I do like the chevy's with the 8.1s... but they are pretty pricey(diesel territory).

I think the interiors on the fords are nicer.... but the chevys are everywhere... and function over form is pretty important because its gonna be worked when it gets driven.

if you find any send them my way. I have found 1 in an extended with 90k and they want $19k for it..

Im not opposed to a regular cab(no kids, and no console to be in the way of a freaky road trip) plus itll fit in the garage.

I'm gathering my monies in the next few weeks(savings, bonuses at work, and I sell stock in the beginning of August) and plan to buy a tow rig/ camping truck.... May even consider selling my civic and driving the truck as my 04 civic has 55k miles on it and could help with some cash to get me into the 10-12k range.

Avoid the Chevy 6.0... seriously run from it. We had those in our ambos, by the time the truck had 200k miles we were on our 3rd motor.
