Third Gen Tranny Class action lawsuit

This just came up on my FB feed. Haven't read about it yet and can't seem to find anything searching. Considering signing up but I'm a little reluctant to be the guinea pig.

I'm sure you'll just end up with a free oil change coupon and suffer the indignity of eating a stale danish, luke warm coffee as you stare at a cardboard cut out of Toyota Jan wondering why your wife doesn't look like that as you wait for the tech to finish changing the said oil. It's 5:30 PM on a Friday, the wife is out spending money like a mad woman at Kohls because it's back to school you know as you suffer another indignity of choosing to eat at Applebee's or The Olive Garden as you mosey you're way home and the Tacoma is shifting weird as you have Tacoma world dreams that one day you can cash in all the likes for a new Highlander as the wife erases all the shows on the DVR that you wanted to watch. It's no sex for you because it's shark week and shark week.

Unless there has been masses of failing transmissions, this lawsuit will probably go no where.

 

I’m hearing there’s a class action lawsuit starting for “weird” noises, too. Noises in the front end, rear end, windows, engine. Who would have thought a 4500lb 4WD leaf sprung truck made noise?

 

So the lawsuit is over the transmission performance and some serious quality issue?

These vulture lawyers will try to do anything for money.
