Long-time jeep owner, looking to get a Tacoma. I'm doing my research here, leaning towards a 2nd gen most likely. Lots of good info here and a ton of stuff to look through. Happy to have a strong board like this to pull ideas from.

Welcome! I was a former Jeep owner myself, 04 Rubicon. Lots of good info on this site. Might help to know what years/model your looking at if you’d like advice. Be sure to check the frames on the earlier 2nd gens, as they are prone to rust issues.

Welcome! I like Heeps too. I have lusty thoughts whenever I see a 2 door XJ, even if it's shitty.

    Thank you.

Pretty sure I want the 2nd gen, probably 2013-15. I want the Off Road package definitely.

I've got a 98 TJ that I love, but Jeebus it's a shop queen. Girlfriend has a 17 Rubi that she traded her 4Runner in for one day when she got a wild hair.

    Thanks

Pretty sure that is where I'm going, although there is a slight chance I may go with a 2018 model.

    Can't wait to get started.

    And thank you.
