    I got stuff on order...
    Hello all,

As of about 2 hours ago I am the owner of a 2017 TRD Offroad Double Cab with 29k on the clock. It's pouring rain today so I don't even have a picture to post yet.

This is technically my second Tacoma as I had a little 4-cylinder 5 speed '96 Tacoma about 20 years ago. To say they've changed a bit is an understatement.

I also had an '07 Tundra. It was nice, but again, the new Tacoma is in a whole different class.

So I'm new to this forum but not new to forums. I've been a "Corvette guy" a "Harley guy" a "Jeep guy" and a "gun guy" most of my life so I've participated in my fair share of online forums. I've found them to be a wealth of tips, tricks, and advice.

Thanks in advance for the future info. Let the mods begin. :)

    -Dave

Finally got a picture. I love this truck, inside and out but I'm thinking that chrome grill has to go. 20180721_130943-01.jpg

Was thinking that about my truck too, might be better served by a flat black grill. Hard to say. At any rate; the chrome on mine has gotten damaged over the years (original owner) and there are chips missing... unfortunately it’s pretty low on the priority list of parts! Where do you think you’ll source yours from?

Well, I coat stuff for a living, so I'm probably going to paint it myself. Graphite Black C-series Cerakote. We'll see how that goes first.

I can get behind an idea like that. Also, I hear there’s a lot of money in coatings if you’re good at it.
