Had my 2017 Limited in the shop on Thursday for software upgrade with the new TSB. Transmission works flawlessly now. No hunting for gears, etc. Works like it should!

It was always searching for the right gear, failing to shift when it should, failing to downshift climbing hills, etc. Just like many of the problems reported by others. The TSB fixed it so it shifts like butter!

Mine was coming to a stop it would clunk , and I have a very slight vibration top of forth gear going to fifth , once the trans shifts it goes away . Dealer seems clueless on how to fix it and I burnt three personal days bringing it to them

Most if not all do the clunk. Was at the dealer a few weeks ago. Still no fix for it. Also, mine is a 2018 so the newest transmission flash does not apply to my rig. I’ve learned to work around it.

gonna see if they’ll flash it at my 20,000 mile service hopefully it will only be that , but I’m thinking it’s slightly low on fluid. just wish they kept a dipstick so I could check

Hopefully this flash sticks! From my experience, whenever the trans learning gets clear or after any new trans flash the truck drives great for a couple months and then it reverts back to being crap. I have literally gone through this like 10 times now, and have resorted to clearing the trans learning every 5k miles or so. Hopefully this TSB doesnt revert back to crap like all the other TSBs (and clearing the trans learning) The jury will be out on this for a few months. Fingers crossed

Holy crap that’s awesome!! I’ve been out of the country until today. I’ll have to check it out!

Edit: After reading it looks like it’s only for the stumble and not the clunk. Oh well ha

If I buy a new one, I think I am going with a manual transmission!!.......I have a 2015 SR5 4x4 right now, 62000 miles.....not one problem other than the stereo sucks as well as the navigation system.

    Oh shit.

If this flash does indeed work, the new thread count on this subgroup will plummet.

On these transmissions there's no dipstick, and you have the transmission serviced at 120k if I'm not mistaken

Drove my truck all weekend. The tranny is flawless, shifts when/where it should, etc.
