Sure! They are a set of Stockton Wheel Service (Stockton, CA) steelies in a 16x7, -19mm size. I run a 10mm billet aluminum spacer as well to clear my brakes, was the smallest one I could fit without rub. In case you are wondering, I had the same fitment issues and needed the same spacer with the stock brakes as well

Do any 3rd Gen owners out there have a Rear Disc Brake Kit functioning with Hydro Boost?

Edit* I’m interested in conversions or BBK’s. Ideally, I’d like to run BBK on all corners.

Are your plans to only do the Front Brakes or will you also be adding the Rear Brakes?

Since my stopping power has improved considerably and since up to 3/4 of the stopping is done by the front brakes I do not plan on doing the rear brakes. I have already gotten the biggest bang for my buck and doing the rear brakes would simply be invoking the law of diminshing returns. I also don't want to mess with the master cylinder. Hope this helps.

Is it better to get drilled/slotted, smooth, slotted, etc

If you are going to race your truck and experience consistently high brake temps then smooth or slotted would be best to prevent cracking although Wilwoods alloys would probably not. If you only occasionally have high temps like driving in the mountains then the drilled and slotted would be best due to lower unsprung weight and better cooling. There are some on TW who hate drilled brakes because some cheap brakes used to crack but Porche, BMW, MB, Ferrari, etc all use drilled brakes so that should tell you something. Hope this helps.

So I was looking at the Wilwood today and noticed that they only have them up to 2016s. Do they work for the 2017s as well and they just haven’t updated their websites yet? Also, did you get the 14” or the 12.88” rotors. I will want them for my 18” rims that I will be getting when I up my tires to 35”. I just want to make sure they will clear everything. My rims will be 18x9, -12 Offset w/ 4.53" Backspacing. Lastly, do you think Wilwood will come out with the rear brake conversion as well like SOS. I like that Wilwood is super lite but sos seems to have more options.

Toyota did not change their rotors and calipers for 2017 so they should work for your truck. As far as the offset and backspacing you may want to call the Wilwood help line I put 12.88s on my truck since I have 17 inch rims but you should go with the 14s since you have 18 inch rims with 35s. You can have Wilwood custom make rear discs for you since Jay Leno has Wilwood custom make brakes for all of his cars.

Last question promise, I noticed that the SOS brakes are over $100 cheaper with the discount. Is it better to go that route or go with Wilwood even though they are more expensive because of the super lite model?

I would call up Tom at SOS performance. Stoptech makes the ST60 trophy brake kit out of forged aluminum if youre that concerned about weight, but the stoptech brake kits already come with two piece aerorotors which would be the majority of weight savings either way

Problem wasn't the size of it, it was the size of the rotor hat. The entire rotor was in contact with the dust shield which was why I cut everything but what fell inside the rotor hat to try to keep rocks out of there!

I got my Wilwood brakes at Summit Racing with a $200 discount and free shipping. They still have that deal. With all of the extra weight you are adding you will never regret going with the lighter BBK.

Edit: I just checked the SOS website and their BBK with 6 piston calipers and drilled rotors are around $300 more expensive than the Wilwood BBK. Wilwood also uses forged aluminum for the rotors and calipers which saved 27 pounds. That is huge. I know Steve likes his Stoptecs so you just need to get what works best for you.

Second edit: don’t you ever sleep?

Did you use a discount code because I priced what they currently have and then sos and their current discount code and sos is over $100 cheaper. If they have a discount code, let me know and I’ll go that route. Thanks

I was comparing the Summit price to the Wilwood OEM website price. Then I looked at the SOS website price which is $300 higher but didn’t have a coupon code. It still comes down to value for me so even if I had to pay a little extra for the weight savings I would still do it

Once again, I know you are on Pacific time so don’t you ever sleep?

That makes sense. Just wanted to know if there really is that big of a difference with the weight between the two. I saw your post regarding the stock and I was amazed. That’s crazy.

Thought I had subscribed to this thread. Apparently not. I've had the entire SOS kit for months and am finally starting the install in a few minutes. I'm not sure I'll make it to the master cylinder today, but I'm at least going to try and knock out the conversion half. Also going to attempt to film an extremely amateur installation video. I actually hate doing it because it gets in the way and increases time spent, but given the really bad instructions that come with everything, it's almost a necessity. Got my beer ready and the air compressor fired up.

Yeah those really are the worst directions my man... Did you take a gander at the drum brake install diagram? Might as well be chinese lol none of it is readable or makes any sense!

Yeah. It's all garbage. I've got both sides apart. That rubber o-ring that goes on the axle tube portion ripped on one side so I stopped. I knew the instructions were crap, but actually doing it makes them look worse. I've been filming as much as possible. I'll have to do a ton of editing and it'll still be amateur!
