Not sure if there's a demand for these like there is on older 4runners, but I have an OEM master cylinder from a 2007 double cab with VSC/Trac. Full integrated abs pump, booster and master all in one piece.

Truck had 137k miles when it was parted out, and started and ran with no ABS or Trac Lights on dash. Can't guarantee this works because the truck was not drivable, but will refund money minus shipping cost if it ends up being bad.

Also have some other small parts from the same truck, not much left though, doesn't hurt to ask if you're looking for something.

    300$ + shipping.

I’m interested, but not sure I can upgrade my truck or not. Do you know what else is needed? Seeing that huge connect, I’d imagine there’s a lot of wiring/ecu work, does it have it’s own ecu? I have 2005 PreRunner.

All of the plumbing is likely different for this setup, based on looking at a standard Tacomas brake master setup. I don't have a clue what goes into this whole system, but I'd assume there would be other components, be it the ECU itself or a seperate abs computer. Don't think it's a simple upgrade.

I was thinking of swapping to one of these for a rear disc brake conversion months ago, first time I can remember seeing one of these for sale here

A simple manual proportioning valve would probably be your best best for a disc conversion. I'd look into the 1st gen forums to see if anyone's done it there. The standard 2nd gen setup is extremely similar to the older trucks.

Oh nice, can't beat that, takes all the guess work out of the swap that way. Between that master and the 4th gen 4runners have rear discs I'm guessing you could get away with a full oem swap. You guys with 2nd gens get it easy lol.

I should just find a rear axle and swap it in, that way I could get coils too... now you got me to thinking

The abs computer (skid control ECU) is right there in your picture but the trucks that use this type booster have a different body main wire harness.

If one had the plug and a good EWD it could be adapted but it's a lot of work and if rear disc brakes are the goal there are simpler ways like that kit linked above
