I'll be driving through to Vancouver next month... I usually go from Jasper through to van by way of highway 5... Might have to go down to Banff and through Revelstoke... That smoke is no joke

It's not too bad now, the wind is keeping the smoke out of Kelowna. Heat is back in a few days though!
    Cheers

Came with MGM topper. Added FJammer stereo. LED Bed lights on AOB Flux Capacitor Switch. Added AOB Spy Mode switch for TBD lighting, stay tuned.
I picked me up a cruise control switch from a Camry so I could replace the aftermarket cruise that wiggles and is cumbersome to use. (Push both buttons to turn off?! What?)
I thought as long as it has cruise, I'm set on wiring and I just need the switch.

    Nope. Stupid thing is wireless.IMG_20180722_002521.jpg
So I guess I'm going to have to find the right wiring before I can install my OEM switch.

No argument there, its very excessive for a horn set up. But the reason why I got this is because I have lost count as to how many times I've had vehicles cross over into my lane coming head on at me or almost side swiping me with there heads facing down in there laps because they are texting. The next thing I got to figure out is how to prevent these texting fools from rear ending me.

Look at the bottom 3rd of that list. I see Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Fiat and Jeep

How are identical brands so different? GMC and Chevy are literally the same vehicles with different badging. Toyota and Lexus are similar in so many ways.

Go Hyundai and Kia. I'm surprised, I have always thought they were cheap piles of junk that fall apart quickly.

And how is Subaru so far down? They, like Toyota are known for reliability.

Here’s mine it’s worked out well and used existing bolt holes in the engine bay.

Just got done updating my 13’ taco. Had a 6” rough country lift, 18x9 with 35x12.5R18.
Just put on k&n air intake, flow master dual exhaust( side exit) with 50 series muffler, updated the rear shocks with pro comp remote resevoir, front adjustable coil overs.
No more rubbing at all in the front and gained 1.5” more lift in the front and 1” in the rear.

I was going to do the same to my FJ steering wheel and the grab bars but was already looking for a Tacoma so I held up doing it. Now I have the Tacoma but haven't had time to do it. Maybe this post will be what makes me get it done.

How well does the lift hold up offroad. Been debating upon going that route.

Fluid film, sealed electrical connection, 303 on all plastics, and sonax gummiphlegar (sp) on all rubber seals. I'd say my truck is at a dis advantage when it comes to salt.

My factory Reese hitch is getting rusty. I had to spray the heck out of it with PB blaster and beat the hitch part out of the receiver with a hammer. I guess I should hit it with some rust inhibitor primer.
