Kinda like Hwy 1 south coming into Monterey on the weekend. Everyone slows down just past Seaside right before Monterey because it’s the first view of the peninsula. It backs traffic up for miles! No accidents, just wanna take in the view ON THE FREAKIN FREEWAY! Unfortunately there is no real tourist season here, it’s all year long now! :frusty:

Installed my FN countersteer type x wheels with 265/70/17 Duratracs on Tuesday. Stock height for now, still waiting on parts for my lift to arrive, I only have the Fox 2.5 RR DSC shocks in my possession currently.

On Wednesday, I changed the wheel studs to ARP and used some 35mm open ended lug nuts from WedsSports as I was only getting 6 turns on the factory studs and gorilla lug nuts.

My TRD Pro shift knob also came in from Amazon. I was skeptical as to how comfortable it would be as it looks pretty big and the shape of it is not my usual style but its actually really comfortable and surprisingly provides a lot of feedback from the transmission synchros and gives you a positive feel when you put it in gear. No sponginess and vague feeling like the stock shift knob. I attribute this to the shape and the contact area that it provides to your hand, especially the palm. Its not big at all, the pictures just makes it seem big.

Looks great pal! I wanted to ask if you had to trim your wheel wells to prevent rubbing when turning.
I just installed 17's and lifted my coil overs up to 3.5 or 4 inches. I had to get the body mount cut back and my bushwackers trimed.
Still an occasional rub but much better now.

That and $10 heat gun from harbor freight tools. Heat gun made it so i had use very little solvent to remove the remaining adhesive. I have debadged the tailgate, thinking about the Tacoma on the doors.
Nice and clean, then get a 4runner TRD offroad badge in black somewhere on the doors.
Every new mod I have been doing lately has made my truck so much improved over stock.
Nothing better than mary Jane, the forest and my truck. Oh Yeah, and good old rock n roll.!

I can't make up my mind as to what to do next? I need a winch, a 20 inch light bar, a set of lights to mount on the hoop on the bumper or a front and rear dash cam.
I have done some pretty crazy shit in the woods, my gopro is a joke, i would never buy another one. Battery life is to short.
Plus when mary jane is hitching a ride with the Hooligan i space out and forget about the gopro.
I haven't really named a vehicle before, I've had a couple cars when I was in my 30's that I truly loved, but this is different from them. This truck can do things that an m3 just can't do!
Shit if it was blond, 5 foot 6 snd 130 pounds with curves, there would be no need for anything else but gas!

Shit gets crazy with the women in my and that truck really becomes a more valuable friend!

Heres to mary jane, the taco and the forest!

I just went wheeling today and it definitely rubbed when turning but only when the suspension was compressed at a certain steering angle. Im getting just a tiny bit of rub on the cab mount, its mostly at very bottom of the fender flare and the wheel liner. Oddly enough, the entire wheel liner on the driver side is rubbing, the top and back had rub marks, but the passenger side was fine. I haven't done any trimming yet, I'm hoping that the lift and custom alignment will make it stop rubbing or lessen it so I don't have to trim as much.

I'm surprised you're rubbing with that amount of lift and bushwackers, are you running 33' tires or very low offset wheels?
